and one or more people jumping simultaneously.
This involves at least three people total,
one or more jumping and two turning the ropes.
Great team work. It is like a juggling act!
While the jumping-rope is going on,
the two persons turning the ropes often recite
rhymes in rhythm. An example:
"Ice cream soda pop cherries on top,
how many calories have you got have you got?
Is it 100, 150, 200 or more have another helping
and skip some more" ~
crazy rantings as such...
My friend and I have been using it as an allegory to
trying to do several things at once. Well it is confusing
and there is a rhythm needed to jump in it and to jump
back out again. A major skill. Being still and knowing that God is God is much easier.
No striving invovled. :)
Something that I can relate to, and find wonderfully appropriate after our conversations earlier.
