KNEELING & POSTURING / CULTIVATING PRAYER

This year the LORD'S ROYAL PRIEST HOOD will emerge from their closets with the presence of holiness on them from being in the throne room. People will be running to the presence of God and they won’t be able to get enough ; drinking from God’s spirit ..drinking and drinking. 

2011 is a year where the Lord is going to ROAR one last time to gather in His children  - the children will come trembling. This year as it has been prophesied will be the year for the last call. We see everything happening in around the world, stirring in Isreal, rebellion in Egypt, unrest in Siberia, great earthquakes and disasters.  The whole world is watching but we know that it is God who is setting the stage. This doesn't mean it is going to happen overnight but we do know that Mathew 24:8 says it is the beginning of  birth pains of the end of this age and the entrance of our king and Savior, Jesus.  He is coming but before he does we need to ernestly pray in the prodigals and the lost like never before.   Gal 6:9 says don't give up and dont' grow weary!!


Jeremiah 31:9 says THEY WILL COME WEEPING .. THEY WILL BE PRAYING AS I BRING THEM BACK IN THE FOLD. I WILL LEAD THEM BESIDE STREAMS OF WATER ON LEVEL PATH WHERE THEY WILL STUMBLE NO MORE.

The spirit of prophecy will flow.. the spirit of prophecy will rise like rushing river , higher and faster, this year we decree that there will be and emergence with a focus on the King .. .. MANY INTERCESSORS.. MANY PROPHETS.... MANY MOTHERS AND FATHERS IN THE BODY.... MANY CHILDREN AND YOUTH..... MANY OLD MEN AND WOMEN .....WILL ALL BE PROPHECYING FROM THE THRONE ROOM..
God is pouring out his spirit in this day ..


He is looking for the priests to rise up and take their positions . For it is time!!
Royal Priest --1 Peter 2:9 YOU ARE A CHOSEN PEOPLE … YOU ARE ROYAL PRIESTS YOU ARE A HOLY NATION
Digging a foundation: We want our foundation to be laid on a foundation of  prayer and intercession. The cornerstone will be Jesus Christ himself and the 5 pillars holding the structure will be the 5 fold ministry. We cannot build a thing, we cannot lay one brick until we pour the foundation. It must be dug deep very deep and we will have many prayers of intercession to pour into that deep foundation.


We can’t go anywhere without the work of prayer or we go in our flesh. We want to establish a culture. A culture in our families for our children and grandchildren. A culture for the city and society a culture for the country and ultimate a culture for the whole world !!!! A GOD CULTURE of LIVING IN HIS PRESENCE!!


CULTIVATING A HEART FOR PRAYING
1 Peter 2:9 (Amplified Bible) 9But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God's] own [a]purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light.

CULTIVATE/CULTURE  Culture is to refine a human endeavour. The VATE in Cultivate means to improve and prepare as by ploughing to loosen, dig, nurture, tend.. IN ESSENCE tending the garden.   Taking the first step towards starting and developing a culture that is going to last is, getting our hearts right!

GETTING OUR HEARTS RIGHT:
We need to learn to pray with the kind of heart that the Lord responds to. A pure heart. The priests could not enter the presence of the Lord with any unclean thing on them. They had to offer sacrifices for their sins, and wash in the laver before they could in to his presence for atonement for another’s sins.

WORSHIP PREPARES OUR HEARTS
Worship cleanses our heart, and prepares our hearts as well as prepares us to enter the throne room of God. Worship needs to precedes prayer and prayer is birthed out of worship because it ''tills our hearts''    We need to be watchers and watch for what the Lord is telling us when we are worshipping him. Knowing that our heart condition can moves the hand of GOD; worshipping him opens the heavens as the angelic come to listen; God’s presence comes too when we worship him with passion. This all releases the prophetic.. when the spirit of God is present.

BACK TO LAYING A FOUNDATION !!!!  How?   Get on your knees!

POSITIONING OURSLEVES ON OUR KNEES.
Part of getting our hearts right is positioning ourselves on our KNEES .. Why kneel .. what does that prophetically represent ??

POSTURING OURSELVES FOR HUMILITY 
Kneeling is a position of dependency , of humility and brokenness ; it is also a sign of reverence and honour. When we learn to kneel spiritually we will feel God’s power. We kneel in weakness and rise up full of power. Kneeling is the outward expression of a inward work of grace going on.

EPHESIANS 3:10 12 In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence. …For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family[a] in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.

PHILIPPIANS 2:9-11  9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth

When we hear the name of Jesus we need to bow our hearts before him

WE DON’T HAVE TO DO THIS IN A RITUALISTIC MANNER BUT IN OUR HEARTS. We bow our hearts before him God. All praise and glory and honour be to the One who sits on the Throne, and to the Lamb!
WORSHIP IS NOT JUST SINGING IT IS A POSITIONAL ACT OF GIVING OUR ENTIRE BEING TO GOD

There are 12 different Greek and Hebrew words in the bible that translate into worship.


WORSHIP / HEBREW
One of the Four Hebrew words is Shachah
- Means to depress, prostrate, bow down crouch, fall down, make stoop, kneel
One of the Greek words for Worship is Proskuneo
- Which means to kiss. As a Dog licks his masters hand, to prostrate oneself in homage to adore.

WORSHIHP IS ABOUT YEILDING YOUR HEART AND BENDING YOUR KNEE IT IS A POSITION.

In Matthew 8:2-3 the account of the Leper that Jesus
 Healed.

JESUS HEALS THE LEAPER
`Behold, a leper came to Him and bowed down to Him, saying `Lord, if you are willing; You can make me clean.``He stretched out His hand and touched him, saying. ``I am willing; be cleansed` and immediately the leprosy was cleansed``
Before this man brought forth his petition of his need in great desperation he bowed before the Lord in an act of worship. The healing virtue of the Lord was released!

Another demonstration of God mercy being release in the act of worship is
Matthew 9:18                                                   
 JESUS HEALS THE YOUNG GIRL``Behold there came a synagogue official and bowed down  before Him saying `My daughter has just died; but come and lay your hand on her and she will live` And Jesus rose and began to follow him and so did His disciples… and when Jeus came to he officials house (the one who bowed before him in an act of worship) he saw the flute players and noisy crowd in disorder.(funeral wake) He began to say Depart for the girl has not died but is asleep. And they began laughing at Him. But when the crowd had been put out he entered and took
her by the hand and the girl arose.



JESUS HEALS SYROPHONENICAN'S DAUGHTER 


She came and began bowing down(in an act of worship and respect ) saying ``Lord, help me.. then Jesus answered her `Woman you faith is great; be it done for you as you wish.`` and her daughter was healed at once.


So the first thing we need to do to establish a culture of priesthood is to position ourselves before him in honour. Bow to the King .


We need watchmen on the walls of our heart to keep the enemy out but we also need cleansing inside the temple.. inside our own hearts.. and when we have a heart totally given to the Lord then we can establish the Priestly calling.

We are warring intercessors and worshipful priests

IHOP This is where we want to be positionaly We want to be that Royal Priesthood We want to be found on our knees with our hearts bowed before the King. We want to dig down deep and lay a foundation of prayer and intercession. We want to be known as a culture of people who are Passionate to know their King. We want to be contagious. We want the presence of the Lord. The manifest presence of the Lord.

YARA - Hebrew meaning is to FLOW

YARA – means to flow

Twelve years ago my husband and I took two car loads of teens to a conference in Delaware, USA. East Coast Aflame. It was there that GOD downloaded a vision to both of us of a free-worship church with all sorts of expressions of creativity. We literally drew out the vision on a piece of paper along with all the scriptures the Lord had given us and tucked it away in our bible. It was one of the first tastes of real freedom we had ever experienced with worship.


Prophetic expression/creativity enhances and adds to our intimacy with the Lord. It allows us room to fully express our love to him without any restrictions, this allows Him to pour back into us, speak to us, impart and love on us as well as empower us. He loves it when we spend ourselves on Him in abandonment in worship.


Ancient HebrewWord Meanings YARA
The root meaning of the word yara is "to flow" and is related to words meaning rain or stream as a flowing of water. In Hebrew though it can be what is felt when in the presence of an awesome sight or person of great authority. These feelings flow out of the person in such as actions as shaking when in reverence or bowing down in awe of one in authority.


We prayed for 3 months and interceded and waited for the Lord to drop a name in our spirits. When we had several visions, dreams and prophetic words.. one from a Pastor Friend in Windsor that it would be an OASIS. The STREAM was perfect.


Psalm 46:4
There is a river whose STREAMS make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells.


Isaiah 43:19 HEY!!! (behold.. a creating word)
Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.


HEY is the 5th letter of the Hebrew alphabet and has a numerical value of 5, means BEHOLD  Modern day Hebrew I believe it is ``Hen`` and not Hey.


We are to be a worshipful expression of our intimacy to the Father and the Son through the Holy Spirit. Why we need to get into the River during our worship times.


JEREMIAH 17 7-8 7 “But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. 8 They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”


PSALM 1– 1-3 1 Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, 2 but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night. 3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.


Doing without water will drain you not just physically, but also emotionally and spiritually. Dryness comes into our spirit life because of loss of work, broken family relationships, divorce and separation from your wives, not to mention broken lives as a result of drugs and alcohol. The heat has come into your lives and the fiery trials of life. We all go through it .. Some more than others.. all of us at different times and different seasons. Do you remember when you were the driest?


Naturally we are made up of 60 to 70 percent water. When we don’t drink enough water, it can have negative effects on the body and the way it operates. Isn’t that a prophetic statement!


We cannot go past a few days without water before the functioning of the body is compromised. Among other things, water flushes out toxins in the body and keeps each part moist so they can function. When we are dehydrated our mouth is dry, severe dehydration we can’t even talk, there is not moisture, sticky mouth, sunken dull eyes, no tears and very lethargic.


THERE IS A STREAM !!!!!! a fountain of living water available to all to refresh our thirsty souls. And this fountain is in no one else but the Lord Jesus Christ.


THREE KINDS OF CHRISTIANS 


First: There are those who are in the desert who for some reason have gotten away from the source of the living waters.


Second: There are those who are getting near and growing closer to the great stream in the desert.


Third: There are those who have found themselves planted right alongside the riverbanks of this fountain of living waters. They are at the river drinking.     



First, to those who are wandering in the desert away from the source of the living waters. You are the one who has not, and the one who does not put your trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. We have read the most wonderful description of the one who is blessed who trusts in the Lord, and how he is planted by streams of water, but let’s go back a little bit in our text and see what it says to the one who has not put his trust in the Lord. Look at verses 5-6:


“ 5Thus says the LORD, “Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind And makes flesh his strength, And whose heart turns away from the LORD. 6For he will be like a bush in the desert And will not see when prosperity comes, but will live in stony wastes in the wilderness, A land of salt without inhabitant.”


Cursed is the man who does not put his trust in the Lord. This is the man who puts his trust in mankind, in the flesh. This is the man who has put his trust in himself and his own abilities. This is the man who really believes in himself. This is the man who trusts in countries, in presidents, in friends, in people with resources—in any thing or person aside from the Lord God Himself. The man who does not trust in the Lord, he will be like a scorched, dried out bush in the desert, certain to become tumbleweed when the wind blows.


Notice that for this person, the heat does not even need to come. His situation is so dire in the stony wastes within the waterless desert, that whether hot or cold, his destruction is certain.


So what are you to do if you are this man? What must you do? You must uproot yourself, and come to the waters. Uproot yourself, and come to the waters. You must put a stop to trusting in yourself or your own resources, and you must put your trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. He will accept you, and refresh your thirsty soul. And He will turn you from the scraggly old bush that you are in your own strength into a beautiful, strong, fruit-bearing tree.


The second person I want to speak to tonight is the one who is near, but not on, the great stream in the desert—straddling between the empty, dry desert on one side, and the banks of the mighty flowing river on the other. You are the person who is like the bush that is burned and crispy on the side toward the wilderness, and turning a slight shade of green on the side toward the river. You are the man who trusted in the Lord when things are good, but turn from him when things are bad. Or on the flip side, you are the man who trusts in the Lord when things are bad, but turn from Him when things are good. You don’t mean to be this way, but in the end you are double-minded as James says. You are trying to trust in both the strength of your own flesh and in the Lord. But the heat has come, and it is revealing the sickness of your soul. You are anxious when the heat comes, and your leaves are not the rich green they should be. And this drought has left you fruitless.


So what are you to do? You must extend your roots to the stream, to the source of all life. You must send forth your roots more fully to the Lord Jesus Christ.


But how do you extend your roots to the Lord? Let yourself be stretched and reach for Him!!


I began tonight by telling you that these past few months have been draining for me spiritually—in part because of the physical labour which drains me daily. I was telling a friend about my spiritual dryness, and he asked a most important question. “How is your time in the Scriptures?” Now, I had not set aside the Scriptures entirely, but I was not nourishing myself as I knew I ought to, and even as I wanted to. My friend challenged me and said, “Whether you need to take a lunch break and read the Scriptures, or what, you need to find a way to get the Scriptures daily.” He was right. I resolved at that time that I would wake up just fifteen minutes earlier every morning to be sure that I fed myself spiritually.


We extend our roots as we feed ourselves on His Word. Listen to these words from a very similar passage from


Psalm 1:“ 1How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! 2But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. 3He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season and its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers.”


Like Jeremiah 17, this Psalm speaks of a man being like a tree that is planted by streams of water. But notice the difference here in Psalm 1. Instead of it being the man who trusts in the Lord, as it is in Jeremiah, in Psalm 1, it is the man who delights, and meditates on the law of the Lord—on His Word. This is because // to trust in a person’s word is to trust in the one who gives the word. When you put your trust and delight and meditation into the Holy Bible, God’s Holy Word, you are putting your trust in the Lord God who gave that Word.


It should be no surprise to us that His Word has such power to refresh and enliven us, should it? It was by His Word, after all, that He created life, and it is His Word that gives us life, that revives us when we are dead, and that sustains us as we live. Scripture compares it to nourishing milk for new born babies. It is called living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword. It is sweeter than honey to the lips. Jeremiah the prophet said that the Word of the Lord was the joy and delight of his heart. The Psalmist calls it a treasure and a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. His Word is indeed precious to us who believe. So take time to read the Scriptures and be fed by them.


But don’t stop there. You must extend your roots to the One who gives these Words: the Lord Jesus Christ.


When Jesus was walking on a long journey one day, a story recorded in John 4, He came to a woman, a Samaritan woman, at a well and He asked her for a drink of water. Even though this woman had access to water, Jesus knew that she was a thirsty woman. She was a woman, like many of us, who was doing her best, but failing miserably. She was like a bush parched on one side by the desert heat, but hopeful on the other because of the nearby raging river. And then Jesus said these words to her: “If you knew [who it was who asked you for a drink] you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.” Jesus later, in John 7 called out to crowds gathered in Jerusalem, and cried out, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink.” Come to the Source of the water. Cast yourself and all your burdens and cares upon the Lord Jesus Christ. He will refresh your thirsty souls. And you will be like that Samaritan woman who once came to a well to get water, but left her water at the well after receiving the living water from the Lord Jesus Christ.


So if you are one who is near the river, but being scorched by the desert heat, extend your roots toward the Lord Jesus Christ, and feed on His Word, the Scriptures.


And finally….. Those who have been planted right alongside the riverbanks of this fountain of living waters—this stream in the desert.


Who is the one who is rooted beside the river? This is the one who puts his trust in the Lord when things are good, and who puts his trust in the Lord when things are bad. This is the man who seeks to obey the commands of the Lord because he trusts in the Lord. / This is the person like Job who was rich, who had a wonderful family and was physically healthy, and while things were good he “feared the Lord and turned away from evil.” And then when his wealth was taken, and his family was lost, and when his health was stripped from him, dared to even call out, “The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away” but he still says, “blessed be the name of the Lord.”


This is the man like the Apostle Paul, who lived in poverty, and who lived in prosperity, whose stomach at times was empty, and at times it was filled, and he was a man who endured persecution and beatings and stoning and prisons, but could still call out, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” He could do all things because He was planted by the fount of living water.


And lest we think being planted by the stream of living water is reserved for spiritual giants found in the Bible, might I suggest that some here at Brother Bryan have been firmly planted by this stream? And it’s a wonderful, and refreshing thing to see.

So if you are one of these who is planted beside the streams of living water, I have something to say to you as well: Dig your roots down deep. Dig your roots down deep.

Colossians 2: 6-7 says, “6Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, 7having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith.” Be firmly rooted. And when the world tries to entice you back into the desert, never ever return to that place, for there you will dry out and die. But how do you dig your roots deep?


To those who were near the water, I suggested that one should read the Bible, God’s Holy Word regularly—even daily. To the one planted beside the waters, I want to press you further. Take time to meditate on the Scriptures, to pray over the Scriptures, to memorize verses of Scripture and to treasure them in your heart. In short, as Paul writes in Colossians, “Let the Word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” Let the Scriptures penetrate into your heart and into your life, and this will root you deeply by the fountain of living water.


But there is another way I want to encourage you to dig your roots deeply into this river. It is my hope and prayer that every one would be a tree planted by the waters. It is such a beautiful thing it is to see one who is planted by streams of living water. They live in grace as the heat of life’s trials come. Their leaves do not wilt and fall to the ground for the yard man to pick up. But not only that, if you are planted by this stream, not only are you refreshed, but you refresh the rest of the world around you. Jesus said that “He who believes in Me [the one who trusts in Me]… ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’” The one who is planted beside this stream of living water—the Lord Jesus Christ—will overflow and water and refresh those around them. He will not cease to bear fruit in a year of drought. He will bear fruit in this desert land with the sweet nectar of love, joy and peace. He will be a beacon of light in a dark world. He will bring life in a world of death. He will be salt in a tasteless and rotting world. He will be sweet fruit in a fruitless land. He will be able to sing:


I've got a river of life flowing out of me! Makes the lame to walk, and the blind to see.


Opens prison doors, sets the captives free! I've got a river of life flowing out of me!


It’s amazing what a little water can do. Over the past couple days, some areas of the city saw some rain. As I have looked around today, there is grass that only a few days ago was parched and dry. But today, after a little rain, has become green and beautiful. Just a little water. Think what an ever-flowing, never ceasing fountain of living water can do for your soul. So I ask you with another song:


Will you gather at the river, The beautiful, the beautiful river; Gather with the saints at the river That flows by the throne of God.


Will you who are away from Christ, uproot and plant beside the waters?


Will you, who are near, extend your roots toward the river?


And will you who are beside the river, dig your roots in deep never to be uprooted?

HOW MUCH ARE YOU WORTH?



JOHN 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have eternal life!


 
God = The Greatest One
So loved the world ! = The Greatest Degree
the world = The greatest amount of people
that He gave = The greatest generosity
His only begotten Son = The greatest uniqueness
that whosoever = The greatest invitation
believeth in Him = The greatest simplicity
should not = The greatest certainty
perish = The greatest possible loss
but = The greatest difference
have = The greatest possession
eternal = The greatest length
life = The greatest gift





When we notice in John 3:16 the greatest generosity it helps us to understand two things about God:


1. The first is His character and nature: He is extravagantly generous. Ephesians 1:7-8 "In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace, which He lavished upon us. In all wisdom and insight..."
2. We understand the depth of God’s care for us, as demonstrated by His generosity, or said differently it speaks of our value to God.
John 3:16 makes abundantly clear our value to God
Often we get overwhelmed by our own sins and shortcomings when we have blown it – it is hard to believe that God could love you and does STILL loves you! How could God forgive you for what I you have done, you ask? You keep messing up and he keeps forgiving you and loving you How marvellous is His love? How perfect is His forgiveness? He holds not one speck of unforgivness or anger against you! Oh, Perfect LOVE .. Not the kind of love you love with. This is loves comes with no conditions.


• WHY DO WE HAVE VALUE TO GOD? We are all wretched sinners, so what value does God find in a sinner?.
• IF YOU FOCUS ON YOUR UNWORTHINESS BEFORE GOD YOU WILL FEEL CONDEMENED AND ALIENATED. Fact: There is no condemnation to those who are in Christ, and we who were far off, have been brought NEAR TO HIM through the blood of the Lamb.
• What should you be focused on? [not your sin] But His love, and His beauty and his holiness! Focus on that!

What is Value is determined by? How do we determine a thing’s value? What about the value of a life? Do we value life? Do we place High Value on Life? A Human Life? God does. What about abortion? What about murder? God values every life.. every single life! They are all precious to him.
How do we measure the Value of something?
1. The cost.
How much does it cost ----God knew how much it was going to cost Him to make and redeem man long before the first man and woman were created. (Eph 1:4) Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love.
He knew how much it was going to cost Him, and He went ahead with His plan anyway. Why?! Because in His eyes it was worth doing. The value He placed on having YOU to be near Him. You have great and enormous value to God!
2. The Price.
The actual purchase price paid. What did he get for the price paid? Have you ever wanted something so bad you would pay anything for it? TO the degree something has value to you, you will pay for it --- but with the precious blood of Christ. When we consider the purchase price paid, the precious blood of Christ --- then we have to know we are of great value to God.
3. The Effort.. in considering the value of a thing you must consider the amount of effort someone is willing to spend in order to obtain it. How far will you go? How bad do you want it? What will do DO for it? Will you be obedient to death? — God was willing to go the utmost distance for us!
4. The KEEPING the amount of effort that is spent to safeguard it. There are two main things that safeguard YOU. You have the indwelling Holy Spirit, and the Word of God. When God sent the Holy Spirit to seal and protect us, there is no greater vault anywhere in the universe. There is no stronger bodyguard, there is no more diligent watchman, and there is no more powerful protector.
5. VALUE TO THIEVES The more value an item has, the more thieves are attracted to stealing it. The fact the devil, and the world, have a contract on you should prove you have great worth!! THE DEVIL HATES YOU TO HAVE VALUE TO GOD.. HE WILL DO EVERYTHING TO STEAL IT!! AND LIE TO YOU ABOUT IT..
Do you find it easier to tell someone else that God loves them than you do to believe He loves you extravagantly as well? Then you don’t know your worth to God. Don’t let the enemy lie to you !!
Wh en we have no value on ourselves or little value
• We believe there is something wrong with us
• You don’t feel like others approve of you or like you
• You think you have to please everyone to get acceptance and approval
• You think that if you make a mistake or you are wrong you will lose value
• You think if you had more money or more things you would be more acceptable.
• You cant understand how God can love you, you don’t even love yourself.
• People who hate themselves have a hard time loving other people.
What kind of a person would you like to be? A CONFIDENT PERSON WITH GOOD SELF IMAGE WHO IS ACCEPTED BY OTHERS how a about a good person who know who they are in CHRIST and is accepting of others.. and their shortcomings. Not to be self conscious or presenting themselves as an apology whenever they are in another’s presence. A life time of low self worth and value usually means that there still is a huge amount of emotional pain deep inside you.

Remember never push down your emotions …and never bury your emotions alive; make sure they are dealt with and dead before your bury them.


A SENSE OF BELONGING IS REALLY POWERFUL!
There is a universal need built in us to be wanted and to know and feel accepted. When you feel rejected you will reject others. When you feel wanted you will embrace others. Accepted and enjoyed by others gives you security in who you are. Do you believe you are worth something? You are Gods child and he loves you.. He is pleased with you!


• You are completely forgiven
• You are totally loved.. I mean totally!!
• You are fully pleasing to him without doing a thing!
• He accepts you right here and now with out any conditions
• God has made you unique.. there is no one else like you!!


When Jesus was baptised in the Jordan as he came up out of the waters the holy spirit like a dove came and rested on him. The heavens opened and a voice was heard from heaven
 1. YOU ARE MY SON this is belonging.. Jesus belonged to the Father
2. WHOM I LOVE this is worth.. Jesus was highly valued and esteemed by the Father
3. WITH YOU I AM WELL PLEASED..


Resting in the trust of the Father in Him.. this is Affirmation


Three things that we need.. to belong .. to feel worth … to be affirmed as to who we are .


YOU BELONG .. And you are worth something. You have worth and significance in him BOOK SEARCH FOR SIGNIFICANCE --- what do you base your value on? You have value and importance! You have value to GOD and a purpose and a destiny! Do you believe that? Our heavenly Father loved all the people in the world so much that He gave up His own son,, to be beaten and sacrificed to show them that he really does love them! They have been estranged from him and he has now brought them close by the blood of the lamb.


God so loved the world that He gave His only Son.
God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him. that whoever believes in him may not die but have eternal life in him he will have eternal life. The judgment of condemnation is this:
The light came into the world, but people loved darkness because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil, speaks evil, operates in the darkness, hates his brother hates the light –And does NOT want to come near the light for fear the darkness will be exposed. Jesus already sees.. And he LOVES YOU. ..And he wants to deliver you from all darkness so come into the light because God so loved the world --- that was you. That He gave his only Son – that was Jesus that whoever believes and enters into his light and ways will not die in his sins but will have a glorious eternal life on earth as it is in Heaven!

HONOURING THE ELDERLY

Do you remember to greet every single person in the room when visitor come?  I have been convicted of this recently.  Do you introduce them to each other?  I have  been convicted of that too.  Sometimes we get busy and assume everyone knows everyone or just leave it up to them to get aquainted.  Here is a good one..  Do you acknowledge, say hello to and offer to introduce the elderly to others in the room?  It is true that some of us ignore other and some of us have been ignored but the elderly generation experiences this so much more that we do. They seem to get forgotten - a lot.  Do you assist them with doors and grocery carts and things that are tiresome and difficult for them? These and more are all signs and actions of respect.

Do you ask them if the music is too loud for them and help them to find a solution?   Elders know a lot about life and the world out there; they have a lot to share - a lot of wisdom.  If by chance you don't agree with their views, honour them anyhow and give them credit for thier experiences.  When we show them respect with a hug; pat on the shoulder; luncheon date etc  it expresses our respect for them.  Showing consideratoin to the elderly marks your character and when you make them feel cared for -- someone cares about them-- they will automatically respond with affection and kindness. ~
Job 12:12-"Wisdom is with aged men, With long life is understanding.

Psalm 71:18- And even when I am old and gray, O God, do not forsake me, Until I declare Thy strength to this generation, Thy power to all who are to come.

DOUBLE DUTCH ANYONE ?

Double Dutch is playing jump rope with two ropes
and one or more people jumping simultaneously.
This involves at least three people total,
one or more jumping and two turning the ropes.
Great team work.  It is like a juggling act! 
While the jumping-rope is going on,
the two persons turning the ropes often recite
rhymes in rhythm. An example:



"Ice cream soda pop cherries on top,
how many calories have you got have you got?
Is it 100, 150, 200 or more have another helping
and skip some more" ~

crazy rantings as such...

My friend and I have been using it as an allegory to
trying to do several things at once.  Well it is confusing
and there is a rhythm needed to jump in it and to jump
back out again.  A major skill.   Being still and knowing that God is God is much easier.
No striving invovled.   :)
